A major theme is that the protagonist and the Phantom Thieves are full of life to obliterate the Seven Deadly Sins that philanthropy is attached to, such as lust, greed, pride, etc; the protagonist is called the savior of humanity, and defeating these vices is necessary to overcoming the enslaved mindset and condition of humanity.

The Palace of all arc of the main storyline has a definite deadline to complete. Persona 5 was meant past this criticism in mind; all Palaces except Mementos are not randomly generated, they feature unique elements of platforming (jumping going on and down ledges), puzzles, stealth, and traps.
A dungeon called Mementos is where the party can traverse by driving a vehicle transformed from Morgana where they can whole treasures, buy Personas that are gift in the since collapsed Palaces and steal the hearts of young targets submitted to the Phantom believer Website (Phan-site). Mementos is affected by the weather, and it is a fine idea to investigate Mementos during days next bad weather for advantages in battle.

A spotlight will follow the protagonist which causes the enemies to pursue the protagonist persistently. After the victory in a battle, the spotlight will end chasing the protagonist. If the protagonist successfully performs option ambush attack, the security level will fall slightly. afterward the security level reaches 100%, the party is goaded to depart the dungeon. The next era the party enters the same dungeon again, the security level will drop by a portion. Mementos does not have a security level, aside from the resolved area.
After the party successfully makes it to the end of a Palace, they can go put up to to the genuine world and send a calling card to their target. be active thus takes the entire daytime grow old away and during that night they cannot go uncovered Cafe Leblanc, although they can nevertheless craft tools if that triumph is unlocked. During the bordering day, they will be automatically thrown into the Palace and cannot acquire out until the boss at the end is defeated. put on an act in view of that will collapse the Palace and give support to the story further.

Baton Touch
Ann using Baton Pass to pay for her twist to Ryuji.
When a party supporter has knocked beside the enemy, a additional feature called "Baton Pass" appears where the party enthusiast can pass the "1 More" point to another combatant to boost up their stats during that turn. However, the limit is three passes, as the "baton" cannot be passed to the thesame party devotee twice.
When every unshakable enemies are knocked down, this will repercussion in a "Hold Up." The protagonist can choose to initiate a negotiation or All-Out Attack:
Negotiation: The game brings incite the archaic pretentiousness of interacting gone the enemy: intercession for obtaining Persona, allowance and item, a feature returning from absence previously Persona 2, in vein similar to the Shin Megami Tensei games. Tips upon arbitration are here.
